While we are anxious to spend as much time as possible outdoors we still want the inside of our homes to reflect a summer vibe that is also low maintenance. We are firmly in mid summer but a little update and refresh is in order. Try one or more of the following to instantly update to your spaces.
1. Centerpiece for the table, island or coffee table:
add natural elements such as a stones or seashells to a tray, large plate (flat or pedestal) or bowl
incorporate white candles
include botanicals such as faux flowers or succulents to bring life to the display
add clear glass candle holders or jars (Mason jars are such an easy addition and add an easy, casual vibe to the space)
2. Lighter fabrics in cool colours

a bowl of seashells on a vanity, occasional table or even your dresser add a coastal spirit
rocks added to a centerpiece or displayed on a tray or window sill are reminiscent of easy cottage life
